Biography

Tech Sergeant Calvin Doile served as a Bombsight Mechanic in World War II, and was located in the China-Burma-India Theater. 

Service Tour:  30 September 1942 to 6 November 1945

Inspected, cleaned, tested, lubricated, calibrated and made major parts replacements to bombsights.  Removed bombsight from plane and mounted it on a test stand.  Tested operation of gyroscope unit.  Checked accuracy of computing mechanism and replaced bearings and other moving parts as specified in technical orders.  Maintained and prepared all records pertaining to the work completed on the bombsight.
