PFC Marlnee was born in El Dorado, KS, the son of John and Casey (Richardson) Marlnee.
The following was written by PFC Marlnee:
As time fades away, I can see myself getting older, my senses bolder, my thoughts more pure, something my heart did cure.
As a little boy and as a man I am free, something my country gave to me. My freedom is a great thing. So I stand to choose to fight upon it, for you and me.
As time fades away, I feel my soul getting much stronger, which lets me know the U.S. Army will last much longer.
The honor of being in this Army is too good to be true, for I love fighting to protect the colors of the Red, White and Blue.
