Brian Koontz served in the Boy Scouts of America

and was in the first class of Troop 206. Brian

is one of many Boy Scouts of El Dorado who seek

to honor veterans for their service.

El Dorado's Boy Scouts were instrumental

in establishing the original Miss Liberty monument

monument in 1950, and the hope, promise, and

mission exemplified in Scouting model the highest

standards set forth in the military.
