Biography
U.S. Army Captain Steven D. Howard was killed in action (KIA) in 1972 in the Vietnam War. His unit: 18th Aviation Corps, 164th Aviation Group, 1st Aviation Brigade, USARV. He died on October 31 in Kinh Tuong Province, South Vietnam. He was a helicopter pilot, Rotary Wing Aviation Unit Commander. Medals/Citations:
Air Medal, Purple Heart, National Defense Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, and Vietnam Service Medal.
