Biography

Tech Sergeant Gale Frye served in the U.S. Army in World War II—from 24 Feb 1941 to 24 February 1945.  He was a member of the 320th Infantry.  Battles participated in:  Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes, and Central Europe.  

 

Wounds received in European/African/Middle Eastern Theater on 8 December 1944.

 

In addition to these medals—Purple Heart, Good Conduct, American Defense Service Ribbon, World War II Victory—Sergeant Frye qualified for the Combat Infantryman's Badge.
